it was dark for many days, cold as well. was room bound, had no access or permissions to step out. no fresh air. but then it rained, sky became clear- really blue. and then the sun shined. got chance to step out for 10 mins. clear air and skies- presented hope, positivity and things to look forward to.
- The harsh words you said to a loved one which you should not have
- The message which you should have replied but you didnt
- The phone call of a friend you didnt return back
- The love and gratitude you should have expressed but you held back
- The argument with a dear one which you could have avoided
- The body scan you should have got done which you postponed
- The insurance you should have bought but you thought is waste of money
- The wrong food you could have avoided but you still ate
- The job or boss you left for a little bit more money
patience especially while listening in a group setting, is most under-rated skills. It is so hard to stay quiet, hold onto your point of view, right when you hear others really are doing BS. I have realized in face to face meetings, virtual meetings, or one-o-one calls, people just want to throw up their opinion. Watch your behavior, are you able to stay quiet for 5 additional seconds when you are tempted to speak.
Read in another blog a few days back. UYBJ- Use your best judgment, it has just stuck with me, totally all over my mind and brain. A simple concept that probably can be applied to any situation, whether personal or professional. Day 54 with a difficult situation, it seems like i have used UYBJ every single day.
